Election of a Parent Governor at Ryefield School

The governing body is responsible for both the conduct of the school and for promoting high standards. The governing body carries out its role by setting the vision for the school and then ensuring that the school works efficiently and effectively towards achieving its vision. The governing body of our school is made up of parent governors, staff governors and community governors. A vacancy has arisen for a parent governor to take up their role in May.

Nomination forms may be typewritten or handwritten. Paper copies of the nomination form are available from the school’s reception. All nominations must be seconded, and all nominated candidates and their seconders must have pupils on the school register on the closing date for receipt of nominations.
